Like almost everything in life, our services come with a few basic T&C's, just to keep everything fair for all parties concerned. Life is short, so we will keep our T&C's the same.
All references to “ZEN Interiors”, “ZEN Online” and Moniiki™ in these terms and conditions are deemed to refer to ZEN Interiors (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2019/141204/07).
Please note that the ZEN Interiors’ online shop at the sub domain www.shop.zeninteriors.co.za has slightly different terms and conditions than the primary website at www.zeninteriors.co.za, due to the product based online trading environment. The services based terms and conditions for the primary ZEN Interiors’ website can be read here.
1.1. ZEN Interiors rely on graphical means to represent ideas, designs and products, but clients should be aware that due to technological limitations, colour and materials might not be accurately displayed on different devices, printouts or brochures. Please request physical samples or visit the relevant showrooms for accurate references.
1.2. ZEN Interiors will always endeavour to provide up to date and accurate information, but in the unlikely event that an error or omission occurs, ZEN Interiors will not assume any liability.
1.3. ZEN Interiors cannot be held liable for any damages or losses that clients incur from using any of ZEN Interiors' services, products or the information provided.
1.4. If any of ZEN Interiors' terms and conditions are found to be unlawful, it will not affect the validity of the rest of the terms and conditions.
1.5. Nothing in ZEN Interiors’ terms and conditions are intended or should be interpreted to unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any right for either parties in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 – which clients can access here.
2. Registration & Security
2.1. Clients must register on the www.shop.zeninteriors.co.za website in order to purchase products from the ZEN Interiors online store.
2.2. For the sake of cyber security, clients are advised to use a unique, website specific profile, when they register their account.
2.3. Clients further agree and warrant that they will treat their account details confidentially and not share access to their accounts with anyone. If clients ever suspect that their account has been compromised, please contact ZEN Interiors immediately.
2.4. Username and password security are the client’s responsibility. Clients will be held liable for any costs resulting from a compromised account.
2.5. By registering for and using any services offered by ZEN Interiors clients guarantee that they are older than eighteen (18) and of full legal capacity.
2.6. Clients may not in any way use any device, software or any other instrument to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of ZEN Interiors’ website.
3.1. ZEN Interiors respect client’s privacy and will take all reasonable measures to protect it.
3.2. ZEN Interiors will not contact clients with any marketing material unless directed by the client to do so.
3.3. ZEN Interiors will never sell any client information to any third-party.
3.4. ZEN Interiors’ employees will only have access to client details that are pertinent to the transaction at hand and will be legally bound by confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements regarding client data.
3.5. While ZEN Interiors will take all reasonable measures to protect client privacy, ZEN Interiors cannot guarantee or accept any liability whatsoever for third parties (such as courier services) used in processing client transactions.
4. Orders, Stock & Shipping
4.1. Due to the various product options available, especially the clothing ranges, products are made on order, hence the lead time of 3-5 business days. Shipping can typically take another 1-2 business days.
4.2. For stock that is carried on hand, orders will ship the same day for orders and payments that is received before 12:00, otherwise the order will ship before 15:00 the next day.
4.3. ZEN Interiors use Aramex's Store-to-Door courier service, which is a next business day service for main centres, although outlying areas can take up to 5 days.
4.4. For bespoke ordered products, ZEN Interiors will reserve stock once a client’s proof of payment is received but will only process the order once the payment has cleared in ZEN Interiors’ bank account — no exceptions will be allowed.
4.5. Bespoke orders cannot be cancelled once a client’s payment have been received and the manufacturing process have started.
4.6. ZEN Interiors reserve the right to cancel any orders and refund any money paid by clients.
4.7. Clients must be available to accept and sign for their orders at the delivery address provided to avoid incurring extra courier costs.
5. Warranties, Returns & Refunds
5.1. All products have a minimum warranty period of six months unless otherwise stated, please see the relevant product invoice for details.
5.2. Warranties does not cover the following:
5.2.1. Normal wear and tear;
5.2.2. Accurately described products that is generally fit for its intended purpose, even if said item does not suit the client - or if client’s change their mind regarding the purchase;
5.2.3. Damage due to incorrect use, alterations, negligence, electrical surges, water damages, corrosion, or inadequate care for the product.
5.3. Products will only be directly exchanged within 10 days from delivery provided all packaging and labels are complete and intact.
5.4. Refunds requests will only be considered within 10 days from the delivery date.
5.5. Warranties are all carry-in, i.e. clients must return the product to ZEN Interiors at the client’s cost.
5.6. ZEN Interiors reserve the right to inspect products before authorising an exchange or refund.
5.7. All refunds must be requested and authorised via email, please contact ZEN Interiors at firstname.lastname@example.org.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. ZEN Interiors retain the copy and intellectual property rights on all products and designs provided, clients are not allowed to sell it or reproduce it in another project, unless ZEN Interiors agreed otherwise in writing.
6.2. Clients are not allowed to copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any of ZEN Interiors' designs or the website’s content in any way.
6.3. All intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademarks embodied in media such as, but not limited to, logos, images or text remain their respective owners’ property, ZEN Interiors' included.
7. Acceptance of these terms and conditions
7.1. By making use of any of ZEN Interiors' services, purchasing any of the products on offer, or making use of the website and its sub domains, clients consent to agree to these terms and conditions unconditionally.
7.2. ZEN Interiors reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without notification, so clients must ensure to occasionally review them for any changes.
